You can create new sub-layer in the selected layer of active branch.

The walls of new sub-layer is active, you can place items and show perspective and elevation but walls are not visible.

From layers manager of new sub-layer you can define parameters. Press OK to convert the cursor into pen to start drawing.

Again from layers manager you can choose the layer or sub-layer to make changes.
